Stephen Decatur (1779-1820)

Stephen Decatur is a name you may recognize from your high school history books. What you may not have noticed is how awesome he truly was. First in the Barbary Pirate War he was captured by the Algerians. So then he and his men snuck out in the middle of the night to destroy the ship so the enemy couldn’t use it. 12 years later during the war of 1812 he was on patrol in the West Indies. He was attacked by British ships. even run aground and out numbered 3 to 1 he still destroyed a whole British ship before his ship was ripped apart and he was captured. He went out in a blaze of glory in 1820 in a duel with James Barron.

Lead Belly(1888-1949)

"If you ever go to Houston, you better walk right, you better not stagger, you better not fight Sheriff Benson will arrest you, he'll carry you down And if the jury finds you guilty, prison bound" and Lead Belly was a man who spent his life prison bound. He was arrested for "carrying a pistol" in 1915. After that he was sent to prison in 1918 for killing a man. The only reason he made it out to start his blues career was that he wrote a song to the governor that was so good he was pardoned. Of course the reason Huddie Ledbetter got his nickname was because he survived a shotgun blast to the chest is a perfect example of why he is in the hall of fame.

Ian Fleming(1908-1964)

This is a name you may not have heard of. However his story is more amazing than almost any other man's. Ian Fleming was a British spy during WWII. He was the mastermind behind Operation Goldeneye and Operation Mincemeat. In Operation mincemeat the British took a dead body, put it in the clothes of a British solder gave it a suitcase with documents to mislead the Nazis. After the war he stated on his most famous works, the James Bond books(recognize Operation Goldeneye now). He is thought of to be the inspiration for James Bond.

Vince Lombardi(1913-1970)

"Winning isn't every thing, it's the only thing." Vince Lombardi was the coach of the Green Bay Packers from 1959-1967. He lead them to the first 2 super bowls and 5 NFL championships. Even the super bowl trophy ,The Lombardi Trophy, is named after him. He is considered the greatest football coach ever.

The United States solders of WWII

The greatest generation. Solders in the last war on evil. They have been portrayed as symbols of toughness for 70 year. Immortalized in movies and video games. They did their job with through all the hardships with zeal. If not for them the world may be a very different place. This is why each one deserves a spot in the hall of fame

Bruce Lee(1940-1973)

Bruce Lee is martial arts. He was the greatest and he always will be. He even invented his own form Jeet Kune Do, or the way of the Intersepting fist. He was so good that he even defeted Chuck Noris. A 1970's boy's room without a Bruce Lee poster was uncomon. R.I.P

John F. Kennedy(1917-1963)

John F. Kennedy was a renascence man in terms of badass. First of all he was a decorated war hero from WWII. He helped defeat communism. Plus he got it on with Marilyn Monroe. His image is remembered 50 years later. this is why I am proud to place him as the first politician in the hall. Hope Lee Harvey Oswald is in hell now.
